Centre will today
brief the Members of an All-Party Delegation going to Jammu and Kashmir about
the contours of the two-day visit. Sources said during the preparatory meeting,
the delegation comprises of nearly 30 Members of Parliament will be given presentation
by top officials of the Home Ministry.
The team led by Home Minister Rajnath Singh will visit the state tomorrow for an assessment of the situation in the state which is witnessing violence and unrest for last two months. During the two-day visit, the MPs will interact with the Governor and Chief Minister and hold meetings with representatives of all political parties and others.

Jaitley, Dr Jitendra Singh and Ram Vilas Paswan will be part of the delegation
besides Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad and his Lok
Sabha colleague Mallikarjun Kharge.
Besides JD-U leader Sharad Yadav, CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, CPI leader D Raja, NCP's Tariq Anwar and Saugata Roy of TMC will be the part of the delegation. Other members of the delegation include Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut, Akali Dal's Prem Singh Chandumajra, BJD's Dilip Tirkey and AIMIM's Asaduddin Owaisi.
