Janata Dal (United) has said its alliance with BJP is only in Bihar and the party will contest Lok Sabha elections in other states on its own. 

The decision was taken in JDU's national executive meeting in Patna on Monday, which was chaired by



Party President Nitish Kumar.

Later, JD(U) principal Secretary K C Tyagi said the party decided to contest the Lok Sabha elections separately in Lakshadweep and North Eastern states.
