The Home Minister Amit Shah has assured the minority communities that, they will not lose their citizenship in the wake of implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act, CAA in the country. 

Addressing a public rally organized by the State BJP  in Kolkata yesterday Mr. Shah said that, the Act is meant for providing citizenship and not taking away it. Mr. Shah asserted that the Government is committed to provide citizenship to the refugees who were displaced from neighboring countries despite continuous



protests from oppositions. 

Referring to the various landmark decisions of the Modi led Government at the Centre, the Home Minister said that, Ram Temple will be built at Ayodhya within few months and a Trust Board has already been formed for this purpose. Mr. Shah criticized Mamata Banerjee led West Bengal Government for its alleged failure in all sector. He launched a special campaign of the state unit of BJP for ensuing Municipal polls in the state.
