BJP national president Amit Shah and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat have discussed the various issues of national importance. Mr Shah had a long meeting with Mr Bhagwat at the sixth global convention of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, the overseas branch of RSS, being held in Indore. The meeting is considered important in view of party’s performance in the recent panchayat and civic elections in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and
Madhya Pradesh.Shah and Bhagwat explored the issue while holding a reality check of other states, including West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam and Uttar Pradesh where assembly elections are due.
On Thursday, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also had a meeting with Bhagwat at the same venue and explained the state government and state BJP unit’s outreach programme and their impact on people.
