Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday responded to Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge's charge that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's party Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) joined hands with the BJP. Addressing the 'Raithu Gosa-BJP Bharosa' rally in Telangana's Khammam, Amit Shah said the BJP will "never unite with KCR and Asaduddin Owaisi, instead we will fight against them".
He alleged that the KCR government is supported by AIMIM chief Asaaduddin Owaisi. He also asked the crowd gathered at the venue if they believed the BJP would unite with Owaisi or KCR and received a rousing "no" as response.
Addressing Mallikarjun Kharge, Amit Shah said, "Leave the idea of sharing power, we (BJP and BRS) cannot even share the same stage." He then turned on
the Congress chief and said the grand old party is in cahoots with the BRS.
The Union Home Minister told the crowd that the BJP will win the upcoming Telangana Assembly election and form the government in the state. “The future Chief Minister of Telangana will be from the BJP under the leadership of PM Modi," he added.
He also took a swipe at the Congress, the BRS and the AIMIM over dynasty politics and called them "4G, 3G, 2G" parties. "Congress is a 4G party--Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira ji, Rajiv ji and now Rahul Gandhi--It is a four generation party. KCR's party is the 2G party and Owaisi's party is the 3G party," said Amit Shah.
"Neither 2G will come, 3G will come nor 4G will come. Now is the turn of the lotus," said the BJP leader.
