Andhra CM urges officials to help ease demonetisation situation

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has appealed to bankers and officials to help ease the present situation that arose out of demonetisation of high value currency notes. 

Addressing a review meeting with bankers and district collectors in Vijayawada yesterday, the Chief Minister asked the district collectors to provide



e-PoS machines on 25 per cent subsidy or in four installments to ease the situation.

He said the services of engineering students, NREGS supervisors and DWCRA members should be utilised from December 26 to bring awareness among people on mobile banking and online transactions to reduce the small currency crisis to some extent.
