Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has affirmed that the government will ensure justice for everyone affected by the recent floods. The Chief Minister conducted an aerial survey of the flood-affected areas in Eluru district on the previous day. Following this, he held a review meeting with officials discussing the flood situation in the Kolleru, Upputeru, and Tammileru regions. 

During the meeting, the Chief Minister personally interacted with flood victims, assuring them that all losses due to floods will be calculated transparently and responsibly. He expressed deep concern for the farmers, particularly those who had planted paddy and lost their crops just as they were nearing harvest. 

The Chief Minister announced that paddy farmers would receive compensation of ₹10,000 per acre for crop losses. He assured tenant farmers that input subsidies would be directly credited into their accounts. The chief minister will



visit the flood affected areas in Bapatla District today.
    
On the other hand, a six-member Central expert team, led by Anil Subrahmanyam, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, visited Andhra Pradesh to assess the damage caused by heavy rains and floods on the previous day. Firstly, the team held a meeting at the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) office in Tadepalli, Guntur district, with senior officials from various departments. 

During the meeting, state officials provided a detailed presentation on the flood situation and the estimated loss of ₹6,880 crores. After the meeting, the Central team split into two groups and visited flood-affected areas in Guntur, Bapatla and Krishna districts. They assessed the damage caused by heavy rains and interacted with flood victims. Today, the Central team will continue its assessment of the damage in the flood affected areas.
