Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam and experts at the state secretariat in Amavarati on Friday. During the meeting, the CM discussed with NITI Aayog officials on preparation of the vision document for Viksit Andhra Pradesh – 2047. The programs and projects that are to be undertaken for the development of Andhra Pradesh state in the coming days were discussed in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that a poverty free society should be achieved by using innovative thinking and technology. In the coming days, artificial intelligence will bring drastic changes in all fields and plans should be prepared to make Amaravati and Visakhapatnam AI hubs, he added. 

Mr. Naidu said that policies to embrace new technology



and opportunities should be in the vision document. He opined that priority should be given to policies that contribute to wealth creation and this vision document should be prepared taking inputs from institutions like IIT, IIM, ISB, intellectuals and experts. The Chief Minister said that the government should work towards the target of 15 percent growth rate. Achieving a 15 percent growth rate will double the per capita income of the people and improve their standard of living, he added.

The Chief Minister has decided to hold more meetings and discussions on the Viksit Andhra Pradesh Vision Document and release it in the coming days. Ministers Nara Lokesh, Payyavula Keshav, Chief Secretary Nirabh Kumar Prasad and officials of various departments participated in this meeting.
