Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday extended the ongoing curfew in the state till the end of May. Chairing a review meeting on the prevailing Covid-19 situation and the vaccination drive, he said the curfew should be extended to control the situation.
The chief minister said the present
guidelines would remain applicable for the extended curfew and the curfew duration would be from 12 pm to 6 am.
He directed officials to ensure Covid-19 cases don't spread in rural areas and said the administration must utilise services of volunteers, Asha Workers and Secretariat staff effectively to contain the spread of Covid-19.
