Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer launches Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (Urban) in Vijayawada

Achieving 100 Percent saturation of Government of India Schemes is the goal of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer said this while launching Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (Urban) on Thursday in Vijayawada by flagging off the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ mobile vehicle. 

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Nazeer said that the goal of the  Yatra is to raise awareness and facilitate delivery of the benefits of the welfare schemes to all eligible persons and to do away with the feeling



of neglect among crores of citizens.

He said that the Yatra aims at focusing on reaching the vulnerable population, to achieve saturation of schemes of Government of India across the country covering all Gram Panchayats, Nagar Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies. Beneficiaries expressed their happiness for receiving benefits under Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme and PM Awas Yojana. A free Cylinder under PM Ujjwala Yojana was given to a women beneficiary.
