Andhra Pradesh govt allots 40 acres of land in Vizag to Oberai group

Visakhapatnam: On a lease-and-rental basis, the Andhra Pradesh government has given the hospitality giant Oberoi Group 40 acres of land in Annavaram village of Bhimunipatnam Mandal in the Visakhapatnam district that was previously owned by the state tourism department.

Vikram Oberoi, the group's CEO, Rajaraman Shankar, the company's president of corporate affairs, and Kallol Kundu, the managing officer, visited the location on Sunday. Dr. A. Mallikarjuna, the Vizag Collector, gave them an explanation of the various government projects that will be carried out in Visakhapatnam over the next few days.
