Tirupati: The AP High Court on Tuesday dismissed a lunch motion petition filed by former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu countering the dismissal of his bail petition in the ACB special court in Vijayawada on Monday.

In a separate development, the Vijayawada ACB Court adjourned the hearing of PT warrant petitions in Inner Ring Road and Fibernet cases filed by CID to Wednesday. The ACB court was supposed to take up the cases on Tuesday following the dismissal of anticipatory bail petitions in the same cases, but the hearing was postponed to Wednesday.

The AP High Court also



dismissed a quash petition filed by former minister Ponguru Narayana’s son-in-law Puneeth seeking cancellation of CID notices in the Amaravati IRR scam. The HC ordered Puneeth to attend the CID inquiry on Wednesday in the presence of lawyers as part of the trial.

Ponguru Narayana also filed a petition in the HC seeking relief from the CID questioning in the Amaravati IRR case. The CID had issued a notice to Narayana, who filed a petition seeking to be questioned at his home due to his health condition. The HC said it will hear the petition on Wednesday.
