The Andhra Pradesh government has raised the retirement age of judicial officers from 60 to 61 years. Minority Welfare Minister NMD Farooq announced that a government order has been issued for this



change. 

The new rule will take effect from November 1, 2024. The decision aims to utilise the experience of judicial officers for an additional year.
