Anurag Thakur says that PM Modi's vision of financial inclusion achieves new milestone of 40 cr bank accounts

Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur yesterday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of financial inclusion has achieved a new milestone of 40 crore bank accounts.

 

In a tweet, Mr Thakur said, it's a historic achievement and Government is committed to take



financial inclusion to the last mile.

 

He said, Government has stopped leakages in the system ensuring every rupee reaches its intended beneficiary swiftly even during the COVID-19 pandemic through Direct Benefit Transfer.
