AP Assembly polls: TDP releases second list of 34 candidates

Vijayawada: Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu released the party’s second list of candidates for 34 Assembly segments in AP through his social media page on Thursday. The names of 16 more Assembly candidates, as also of LS nominees, are yet to be announced by the party. Naidu noted that the first list of contestants had already been released. “The lists were finalised after taking opinions from the general public also. I appeal to the people to bless all the TD contestants and help them win the polls,” he said.

Out of the 34 candidates, 27 are men and seven women. Two are young, between 25-35 years, eight are aged between 36-45 years, 19 in between 46-60 years, three in between 61-75 years. Only two are above age 75. As for their educational qualifications, one has PhD, 11 have PG degrees, nine are graduates, eight passed Intermediate and eight others studied upto high school level.
