Kurnool: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his joy at visiting the Ameen Peer Dargah in Kadapa, a symbol of religious harmony and Sufi glory, on Thursday.

During the visit, the Chief Minister presented a floral chaddar adorned with the government insignia.

The chief minister stressed on the significance of unity among the people, surpassing differences of caste and creed. "I consider myself fortunate to have such a grand and illustrious Dargah in my district," the CM said.

He expressed the confidence that, with the Lord's blessings, he could extend the benefits of welfare schemes to all deserving people.

In addition, he said, the residents of the district, who hold the Ameen Peer Dargah in the highest regard, consider themselves very fortunate. He explained the active involvement of SB Amzath Basha, aligning with the government's aspirations, implementing welfare schemes, and



serving the minority communities as their minister and as deputy chief minister.

Arriving by road from Kadapa airport, the CM received a warm welcome from Dargah representatives. He proceeded to the shrines of 16 former prelates, including Arifullah Malik and Ameen Swamy, offering sandals, cloth chaddar and flowers. Following the Sufi tradition, the chief minister was adorned with a turban, scarf, and garland.

Subsequently, floral tributes were paid to the shrines and prayers were offered. District in-charge minister Adimulapu Suresh, deputy chief minister, and minority welfare minister Amzath Basha, Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy, MLC Ramachandra Reddy, Rayachoti MLA Gadikota Srinath, city mayor Suresh Babu, district collector Vijay Ramaraju, joint collector Ganesh Kumar, SP Siddharth Kaushal, Badvel RDO Venkata Ramana, Kadapa municipal commissioner Praveen Chand and others were present.
