AP Govt announce plans to integrate Tirumala darshan into its WhatsApp Governance initiative

The Andhra Pradesh government announced that it plans to integrate Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) services into its WhatsApp Governance initiative. According to the state, they aimed to enhance citizen convenience and accessibility to various government services on one portal.

Some of the key TTD services that will be made available through WhatsApp Governance include tickets for darshan and booking accommodations, directly through the messaging



app.

Subject to collaboration with the central government, citizens might also be able to buy railway tickets through Andhra Pradesh’s WhatsApp Governance initiatives.

Apart from that , the government is also exploring the possibility of allowing citizens to book movie tickets through WhatsApp.

The WhatsApp Governance initiative will also enable citizens to provide feedback on government services, facilitating improved governance and accountability.
