AP govt launches awareness campaign to promote cashless transaction

Andhra Pradesh government has launched a state-wide awareness campaign to promote use of cashless methods of transaction, such as online banking, mobile wallets, and e-POS machines.

Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">The campaign, in the short-term, will ease the cash crunch in the wake of demonetisation and, in the long-term, push the state economy towards digitisation.The campaign is being conducted by the Finance Department. Its first leg began in Guntur yesterday.
