Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of the writ petition filed by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Knife attack case to six weeks.
The high court, in its interim stay order on further hearing in the Kodi Kathi case in the NIA court in Visakhapatnam, adjourned the matter for eight weeks. It also directed the National Investigation Agency (NIA) court to file a counter to the petition filed by Jagan Reddy.
On Oct 12, Jagan Reddy filed a writ petition
in the high court, challenging the dismissal of his plea by the NIA court, Vijayawada, for a probe into the knife attack on him by J Srinivasa Rao (Srinu) at Visakhapatnam international airport on Oct 25, 2018.
After hearing the arguments from both sides on Oct 13, Justice Sreenivasa Reddy adjourned the hearing to Oct 17. Once again on Tuesday, counsel for Jagan Reddy appealed to the court for a probe into the "deeper conspiracy" behind the knife attack on him.
