AP High Court refuses to stay EC orders on IPS transfers

Amaravathi: The AP High Court refused to give any interim direction on the petition filed by AP govt challenging the Election Commissions’ order of transferring ADG intelligence A B Venkateshwara Rao and two other IPS



officers.

The ECI had transferred the three officers following a complaint by the YSRCP. The AP govt had immediately reposted the officers and sought judicial relief terming the ECI orders as arbitrary.
