Vishakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) launched door delivery services on October 26, offering residents within a 10-kilometre radius of 84 major cities and towns in the state the convenience of having parcels delivered directly to their doorstep.
Gandi Satyanarayana, the deputy DTCM (Divisional Traffic Control Manager), told that the service is available in 84 cities across Andhra Pradesh, including Hyderabad. However, it is important to note that the service is intended for booking purposes only and not for direct delivery within Hyderabad.
One of
the key highlights of the initiative is its cost-effectiveness. The pricing structure is designed to be accessible to a wide range of users, with charges as follows:
Up to 1 kg: Rs 18
6-10 kg: Rs 36
10-25 kg: Rs 48
25-50 kg: Rs 59
Since its launch, the door delivery service has gained quick traction among the public, with more than 200 parcels booked in just a few days, clearly illustrating the demand for such a convenient and affordable delivery option.
