Army soldier killed in encounter in Kupwara

An army soldier was killed in an encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district today morning.

The gun-battle

broke out at the Choken Post in Keran sector near the Line of Control at around 7.30 am, officials said.

The encounter is currently underway, officials added.
