New Delhi: Around 2,800 personnel of the Delhi Fire Service will be deployed in the national capital today on the occasion of Diwali. The Director of Delhi Fire Services Atul Garg said, they have made extensive preparations to handle fire calls during the Diwali festival. He said, all assistant divisional officers have already inspected the fire stations under their jurisdiction. He said, as many as 30 additional fire posts have also been set up across
the city to handle distress calls.
The Delhi Metro has said that the last Metro train service will start at 10 PM today from terminal stations of all Metro Lines except Green Line. The last metro train in Green line will run at 9:30 PM. It said, the Metro train services will run as usual for the rest of the day on Diwali from routine commencement timings on all the Lines.
