In Arunachal Pradesh, BJP will hold its legislature party meeting today. 

Chief Minister Pema Khandu, who is all set to become the chief minister again, will meet Governor BD Mishra soon after the meeting and stake claim to form government. 

The term of the 9th Arunachal Pradesh legislative assembly will end on 1 June, and the next legislative assembly has to be



constituted before that. 

Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his Council of Ministers tendered their resignation to Governor yesterday. 

The Governor has accepted the resignation and requested Mr. Khandu and the Council of Ministers to continue till the new Government is sworn in. BJP for the first time in the state has won 41 seats in the 60 seat state assembly.
