Mr Pul has, now, the backing of 42 members, with outside support of 11 BJP and 2 independent MLAs. After being sworn-in as the
Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, in less than 15 days, Dissident Congress Leader Kalikho Pul has merged with PPA along with 29 other Congress MLAs.
Pul justifying his move held AICC responsible for the action. He said that the Congress Leaders have sidelined them during their struggle and even after he has been elected as the Congress Legislature Party Leader the move was nullified by the party.
