In Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki is going to hold a Cabinet meeting in Itanagar at 11 this morning. The time for the Congress Legislature Party meeting will also be finalized today.
Yesterday Arunachal Pradesh Governor Tathagata Roy has asked Nabam Tuki to immediately call the state assembly session and prove his majority on or before Saturday. Supreme Court had on Wednesday ordered to reinstate the congress government in the

state.
Tuki said that he needed time to face the floor test and he would request the acting Governor Tathagata Roy to defer the proposed floor test.  Speaker Nabam Rebia also said that it is not possible to summon assembly session in such a short notice.
He said that they would ask the Governor to give them a time period of 10 to 15 days. Chief Minister Nabam Tuki and rebel leader Kalikho Pul are both claiming to have majority on their side.
