Arunachal Pradesh Government has suspended issuing of Protected Area Permit to foreigners amid Corona Virus scare. With this, foreign tourists will not be able to enter the state.

Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme’s (IDSP) State Surveillance Officer Dr L Jampa has informed that two persons from the state with recent travel history to COVID-19 affected countries are under



home isolation and are reported to be asymptomatic. He said, as per the list of passengers shared by the Central Government, eight others having travel history to affected countries are also asymptomatic and tracking process for the other two is in progress. Dr. Jampa also informed that monitoring will be done at Pasighat Airport from today.
