Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore has said that Arunachal is in the heart of India.He said the distance between Delhi and Arunachal Pradesh has been shortened as Arunachal and North-East are in the heart of Delhi. 
Mr Rathore was addressing the closing ceremony of the Buddha Mabotsav at Bomdila in West Kameng District in Arunachal Pradesh yesterday.Mr. Rathore hailed the diverse cultures and tradition of indigenous tribes of the



district and appealed the people to preserve it. He also said that an FM station would be set up at Bomdila very soon.
Mr. Rathore who is on a two day tour to Arunachal Pradesh will visit Mechuka in West Siang District today.The Minister will also attend the opening ceremony of the three day Adventure at Mechuka festival there which begins from today. 
Mr. Rathore will be accompanied by Minister of State for Home, Kiren Rijiju and singer Adnan Sami.
