A high-level team of Archaeological Survey of India is on a visit to Odisha to assess the nature and quantum of damage caused by Cyclone Fani to Jagannath Temple, Puri and Sun Temple, Konark. 

As many as one crore 51 lakh people



in 14 districts of Odisha were affected by the Cyclone. 

Releasing the situation report, special relief commissioner Bishnupada Sethi yesterday said, at least 41 people were killed in the calamity and more than 5 lakh houses damaged.
