Assam Floods: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma expresses gratitude to Mukesh Ambani for donating Rs 25 crore

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday expressed his gratitude towards Reliance Industries (RIL) chairman Mukesh Ambani and his son Anant Ambani for donating Rs 25 crore to CM Relief Fund for the flood-affected people in the state.

The flood situation in Assam remained grim as more than 45 lakh



people have been affected.

Taking to Twitter, Assam CM said, "My deepest gratitude to Mukesh Ambani & Anant Ambani for standing with the people of Assam at this crucial juncture by donating Rs 25 cr to CM Relief Fund. We appreciate this kind gesture. This will go a long way in augmenting our flood relief measures."
