Assam govt orders enquiry in killing of two alleged militants at Kokrajhar district

Guwahati: The Assam government has ordered an enquiry in the  killing of 2 alleged militants at Kokrajhar district recently. Home Secretary D P Mishra said that Lower Assam Commissioner Jayanta Narlikar would conduct the enquiry and submit a report within 15 days.

Police gunned down



2 members of newly outfit United Liberation of Bodoland,ULB on 17th of this month at Ultapani area in Kokrajhar district.

However various organizations and local people claimed that both the deceased youths are not members of any militant outfit.
