Assam govt to build toilets in tea garden areas under Swachh Bharat Mission: Assam CM Sonowal

Assam Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal has said, his government will reactivate the defunct skill development centres in tea garden areas for generating employment. In a series of tweets, Mr. Sonowal expressed hope that this step will also bring development to the state. 

The Chief Minister further



said, the government will build household toilets in tea garden areas under Swachh Bharat Mission and improve sanitation to make Assam Open Defecation Free soon. He said, Revenue department is carrying out a survey of the total land of tea gardens to bring all-round development to these areas .
