New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced the poll schedule for upcoming assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Mizoram. The highly anticipated elections will be held from November 7, 2023, and counting of votes will take place on December 3, 2023.

According to the schedule released by the ECI, polling in the five states will be conducted in multiple phases to ensure a smooth and efficient electoral process. The election dates for each state are as follows:

 The polling in Chhattisgarh will be held in two phases.

- Phase 1: November 7, 2023
- Phase 2: November 17, 2023

2. Rajasthan:

- Rajasthan will go to the polls in a single-phase



election.
- Date: November 23, 2023

3. Madhya Pradesh:

- Madhya Pradesh will also have a single-phase election.
- Date: November 17, 2023

4. Telangana:

- Telangana's election will be conducted in a single phase.

- Date: November 30, 2023

5. Mizoram:

- Mizoram will witness its state election in a single phase.
- Date: November 7, 2023

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said the poll panel has completed consultations with all stakeholders, including political parties and enforcement agencies, in preparation for the upcoming assembly elections in five states.
