In Jharkhand, 40 workers are feared trapped under debris after coal mine collapse in Lalmatia area of Godda district last night which is run by Eastern Coalfield Limited and is under operation for last 10 years.
The rescue operation has been launched after the mine accident in Jharkhand's Godda district, but cold weather and fog are adding difficulties to the operation in removing the



debris. 
The electricity wires have also been snapped as many electric poles went underground due to the massive collapse. Tough none have been discovered dead in te rescue mission so far, experts say it may take two days to clear the debris.Chief minister Raghubar Das has expressed grief over the incident and has asked Deputy Commissioner of Godda district to speed up the rescue efforts.
