Average waiting time at fee toll plazas reduced from 734 seconds to 47 seconds: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inform LS

New Delhi: Road and Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari yesterday informed the Lok Sabha that the average waiting time at fee toll plazas has been reduced from 734 seconds to 47 seconds.

In a written reply, he said that it was revealed by an Impact Assessment



study on FASTag by National Highways Authority of India. He however said that there was no provision for exempting the vehicles from user fees in case the vehicles stopped beyond a certain time limit at fee plazas on National Highways.
