Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia told senior officials from the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) not to "compromise over safety of passengers" during a high-level meeting chaired by him on Sunday. 

A MoCA official said the Union Minister made it clear that there should be no



compromises when it comes to the safety of people.  

"Civil Aviation Minister Scindia directed the officials in the meeting to not compromise with the passengers' safety, adding that safety is the paramount priority," said a MoCA official. The official added that Scindia asked officials to strictly adhere to the prescribed safety norms.
