The Supreme Court on Tuesday asked both the parties in the Ayodhya temple dispute to resolve their differences amicably outside court. The suggestion came from CJI JS Khehar, who also offered to mediate the process.
He also offered to choose a principal mediator by the court for
settling the issue.
The court called upon parties concerned to sit together to arrive at a consensus and asked Swamy to consult both and inform it about the decision on March 31. The apex court was reacting to Subramanian Swamy’s plea for an early hearing of the dispute.
