Election Commission yesterday said that Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla parliamentary constituency is heading for the highest voter turnout in the last 8 Lok Sabha elections. Voter turnout of 54.21 per cent was recorded as of 5 PM in the districts of Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora and Budgam.

Polling took place in 2,103 polling stations across the



Baramulla Parliamentary constituency with live webcasting at the polling stations.
There are 22 candidates in the fray in the Baramulla parliamentary constituency in the ongoing General Elections. The Commission said polling personnel including security personnel worked tirelessly to ensure smooth and peaceful voting.
