Another batch of 5,696 Amarnath pilgrims left the Yatri Niwas base camp in Bhagwati Nagar in Jammu this morning for Kashmir Valley amid tight secuirty in a cavalcade of 219 vehicles. Of these 1,591 males, 360 females, 5 children, 64 sadhus and 8 sadhvies left for Baltal base



camp whereas 2896 males, 651, females, 5 children, 103 sadhus and 13 sadhvies left for Pahalgam base camp. From the two base camps in valley, they will proceed towards the holy cave shrine in the Kashmir Himalayas.
