Speaking to TOI, BIAL executive director and president Hari Marar said "As there is a significant growth in passenger traffic, it is necessary to implement systems that allow quicker transit time, ensuring the smooth ingress and egress of passengers".

By December 2018, passengers can have a hassle-free access across all checkpoints.
