Karnataka BJP worker Mohammad Hussain, who was hacked while in his office on May 4, succumbed to his injuries today. Police have arrested four people so far in the case.
Hussain was under treatment in a local hospital in Bengaluru. The BJP had alleged that attack was for political vengeance and rivalry.
Hussain, BJP's minority morcha general secretary, was sitting inside the
office when some men covering their face with helmets, barged inside and attacked him.
Hussain's family members allege he was killed because he had joined the BJP despite being a Muslim.
In March, another local BJP leader Kithaganahalli Vasu was hacked to death in the city. Vasu, who's wife is a zila Panchayat member, was attacked on March 14, while he was on morning walk.
