Bengaluru to get 'Namma Canteens'

On the lines of Tamil Nadu's famous 'Amma Canteens,' Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today announced 'Namma Canteens'. Presenting his 12th budget, Siddaramaiah said that these canteens will be a boon for city dwellers as the rate will be



affordable. 

The canteen, which will be opened in all the 198 BBMP wards will give a sufficient food for the customers at an affordable price. Siddaramaiah said, " Tiffin for Rs 5 and meals for Rs 10 will be provided in 'Namma Canteens'."
