Jammu: J&K Director General of Police Dilbag Singh on Thursday said that if more journalists are found indulging in militancy or sympathizing with terrorists they will not be spared and action will be taken as per the law.
He said the border security grid is also tightened and some police posts are also raised in border areas. The DGP said that Pakistan is trying to smuggle drugs and ammunition into this side of the border. Terming drug menace a big challenge after the militancy in J and K, DGP said that big consignments of drugs were seized by police and other agencies in J and K in the recent past which were smuggled through international border, by drone and by other means.

media persons on the sidelines of the Police Martyrs Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship final match held at Sports Stadium Kathua.
The Police Martyrs Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship was organized by Jammu and Kashmir police in memory of those police officers and officials who sacrificed their lives for the country while fighting terrorism. As many as 17 teams drawn from J and K, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi participated in the Cricket Championship.
The final match was won by Haryana Cricket Academy who defeated Vicky Eleven, Pathankot. The DGP gave away the winner's trophy and cash prize of 3,50,000 rupees to the winners.
