Patna: Bihar government has decided to provide free treatment up to 5 lakh rupees every year to all ration card holders of the state on the lines of Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. It will be implemented from April this year. Health Minister Mangal Pandey said, 85 lakh families of the state will benefit from the scheme.

He said 125 crore



rupees per annum will be incurred after the launch of the scheme and the state government will bear the entire expense.

Mr Pandey said one crore five lakh families of the state are already getting free treatment facilities upto five lakh rupees per annum under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
