Bihar govt recommends CBI probe into Siwan journalist murder case

Bihar government has recommended for CBI probe in Siwan journalist Rajdeo Ranjan murder case. The state home department issued notification yesterday evening in this regard. Quoting sources, our correspondent reports that the request has been sent to CBI via email and fax to take over the case further.

Amid allegations about



links of former MP and RJD leader Mohammed Shahabuddin to the killing of the journalist, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had yesterday given his consent for CBI probe.

The bureau chief of a Hindi daily Rajdeo Ranjan was killed by unidentified assailants on 13th of this month at Station road area of the Siwan district.
