Patna: In Bihar, all Covid-19 related restrictions have been lifted from today in view of overall improvement in Covid pandemic situation in the state. The State Home Department has said all schools, Colleges, Coaching institutes will operate with full attendance.
The Department has issued new guidelines regarding functioning of institutions and other services. According to new guidelines, public transport vehicles, parks, cinema halls, clubs, gymnasiums, malls, shops, parks, zoos, government and private offices have been allowed to operate with 100 percent capacity.
During these Standard Operating Procedure
(SOP) and observation of Covid related protocol will be mandatory.
The number of active cases is 1274 in the state. The Covid-19 recovery rate has reached 98.37 percent.
Meanwhile, the Health Department will launch a five-day intensive, ward-wise vaccination drive against Covid-19 from today to speed up vaccination. The Department has said that it will help to inoculate the uncovered population in the state.
Around 11 crore 63 lakh total doses have been administered in the state, out of which over 5 crore people have been inoculated with double dose.
