The BJP appointed Mohan Lal Badoli as the Haryana state party President on Tuesday. BJP National President J P Nadda has appointed him as state president just months ahead of the assembly polls in the state, scheduled in October this year. Mr Badoli is presently serving as MLA from Rai assembly



constituency in Sonipat District. He has replaced Chief Minister Nayab Singh who also held additional charge as the state BJP president.

Sitting MLA, Badoli lost the Lok Sabha election from the Sonipat seat to his Congress rival in a close contest.
