BJP Parliamentary Board has appointed senior party leader and Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu and party General Secretary Bhupendra Yadav as central observers for the election of new legislature party leader in Uttar Pradesh.
Union Minister Narendra Tomar and party leader Saroj Pandey will be the observers for Uttarakhand while Union Minister Piyush Goyal and party leader Vinay Sahasrabuddhe will be the observers for Manipur.
Union Minister Nitin Gandkari will be the observer in Goa.
Briefing reporters after the board meeting, Union Minister JP Nadda said the board has authorized BJP President Amit Shah to take a decision on Chief Ministers name after getting the reports from observers.He said the observers will soon visit their respective states. Mr. Nadda said the board also passed a resolution paying tribute to martyrs of recent Sukhma attack.
