The BJP has asked
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to apologise to Union Finance Minister
Arun Jaitley for levelling false allegations against him in connection with
DDCA case. At a press conference, party spokesperson M J Akbar Sunday said,
Delhi government appointed three-member committee has not mentioned Mr
Jaitley's name in its report related to alleged irregularities in DDCA. He
said, it reflects that the allegations against Mr Jaitley are baseless. Mr
Akbar said, Mr Kejriwal should go to the court and admit to
defamation.
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party said, BJP is trying to falsely project that Delhi government's probe panel report has given clean chit to Mr Jaitley in the DDCA case. In a statement, the party said that on the basis of the panel's recommendations, the city government has set-up a Commission of Inquiry to probe the alleged irregularities in the DDCA.
