BJP bags 100 seats in final phase of Maharashtra civic polls

In the final phase of municipal council polls in Maharashtra, BJP has bagged 100 seats out of 244. This takes BJP’s total tally to 1190 councillors and 71 municipal council presidents, retaining

top position overall.

The polling for last phase of Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat elections was held on Sunday across 11 local bodies in Nagpur and Gondia districts.
